A tag has been placed on Only at Tech requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. From article talk page

About the speedy deletion: so far, Only at Tech has been online for about 24 hours, and already has over 8000 unique pageviews (see http://www.onlyattech.net/view/Sports/480). There are about 550 posts as of right now. Note that this is from a student body of about 30000, graduates and undergraduates. There was no advertising of any form, just word of mouth and a few unofficial announcements by TAs. I figured that, if it actually did become a major feature in Georgia Tech culture, we'd want to start writing down exact details early. Vebyast (talk) 07:44, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

A very promising start indeed - but see WP:WEB for the notability requirements for websites. Also - even if there is every hint that this site will be notable in the future, per this policy we don't usually list items in anticipation of them qualifying. An admin will review this and even if it does get deleted you've got a great start on the article here and you can keep it and work on it in your userpage while the site gets a little more in the way of a third-party list of sources which discuss the site.  7  07:55, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

You mentioned the site has only been online for 24 hours, but you state that it started in October. Do you mean November?  7  09:01, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Whoops, yeah. Thanks for pointing that out. Also, looks like it's been deleted, kind of as I expected. Now we wait for references.
