Image licensing[edit]

Regarding the licensing for File:Life cycle of Red Pierrot.jpg, you applied a cc-by-4.0 license but stated that "I allow use of this image for any educational, non-commercial purpose without modification & with mention of credit." which seems to be more like a CC BY-NC-ND license. Are you restricting reuse to non-commercial with no modifications? -- Whpq (talk) 18:53, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The page File:Life cycle of Red Pierrot.jpg has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it had not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally you should clearly state:

  • the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale. plicit 12:29, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
