Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Doctor Dolittle characters may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Epicgenius (talk) 20:02, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ViewTwister, I noticed the edit Epicgenius is referring to as well. Character summaries should include general information that describes who the character is. Does he get scared a lot? Is he clumsy? Is he sweet? Is he always angry? The content you added seems more focused on a very specific event, it's a little confusing, and it doesn't quite expand our knowledge of who the character is in general. Hope that helps, and don't take the reversion personally. We all get reverted and it encourages us to tailor our edits to what the community needs. Good luck, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:06, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, was there something that you found confusing about the embedded note that you removed here? Because I noticed that you replaced it with content closely paraphrased from this source. Changing a few words around doesn't make copyright violations okay. You should be writing 100–200 word episode summaries in your own words. If writing is not your strong point, don't attempt to do this by copying other sources. Copyright violations do not make the project stronger, they weaken it.
