Organized labour project

[edit]

Thank you for joining the Organized Labour project. I've been a participant in the project since 2006 and am helping with a revival of it. As part this we are introducing a new membership system, which will help with communications among participants. This involves creating a membership file for each participant within your user space (you can see an example of my membership card here: User:Goldsztajn/WikiProjectCards/WikiProject Organized Labour). This system is already in operation within a number of wikiprojects (such as Women in Red and Medicine). You will not have to do anything, myself or someone else from the project will create the relevant file within your userspace. However, I am conscious that it is not polite to change an editor's user space without notice. If I don't hear from you in the negative, I will go ahead with making the change after the 18th of January. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Many thanks for supporting the project, in solidarity, --Goldsztajn (talk) 10:42, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, comrade. I appreciate your tenacity trying to change the absurd description of DPRK's regime. It's sort of ludicrous that people hide behind "consensus" on de jure definitions which would be easily accepted had the country been inside the USA's sphere of influence. Study Invite

[edit]

Hey Tiberius! Thanks for patrolling edits and reverting vandalism! I wonder if you are interested in our ongoing study for patrollers. The study aims to evaluate AI models that power Huggle, SWViewer, and many other anti-vandal tools. Your feedback can be really helpful! If you're interested, please check out our recruitment page for more information. Thank you for your consideration! Tzusheng (talk) 04:21, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Hello there, thank you so much for fixing things after me, something I've noticed is that we tend to frequent same pages a lot. Thus I wanted to ask - would you be willing to talk somewhere such as Discord? I know you might have a lot going on, but if you had a tiny bit of time and wanted to meet someone new, then that'd be pawsome!

God bless, Comrade! <3 Brat Forelli (talk) 09:20, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are right that I have a lot going on, though this usually doesn't limit me that much, my introverted nature on the other hand really does. I'm sorry I haven't come back to you sooner, but I have been rather anxious about replying ever since I received your message. I am willing to connect on Discord, although I can't promise that I will have the confidence to speak right away. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 04:42, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

[edit]

Regarding this revert. I intended to WP:BANREVERT massive changes to the article made by a sock with CIR and POV issues, though I should've stated so in my edit summary. The infobox parameter for "now part of" also looked cluttered and wrong Kiu99 (talk) 03:46, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah that clears it up. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 03:47, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That IPv6 you've been reverting

[edit]

Hi, Vif12vf. I see you have been reverting edits from 2600:6C50:7EF0:4A70:AC5E:678F:2922:B2D1 in several places, calling them a sock. It's actually even worse than that: all their text is lifted straight from copyrighted sources. Compare my warnings on their talkpage. May I ask why you say they're a sock, though? Do you believe they're evading a block on an account? Bishonen | tålk 08:01, 15 November 2023 (UTC).[reply]

That's the contributions from 2600:6C50:7EF0:4A70:AC5E:678F:2922:B2D1's /64 range, in other words, it's more contributions from the same individual (a /64 range is just one person). I checked those before I wrote to Tiberius, Uncle G, admittedly a little superficially, but afaics, there weren't any copyvios there apart from the one IP I warned. I'm not sure about the socking - your explanation is a little vague, Tiberius - but the pasting of copyrighted material is very clear. Of course with an IPv6 you can never tell if they have seen or will see any warnings before they've moved on to another IP in the range - sigh - but I'll try to keep an eye on it. If there are more copyvios, I'll just block the range. Bishonen | tålk 16:53, 15 November 2023 (UTC).[reply]
Ah that clears it up, thanks. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 16:55, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
