Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/merinews. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.

Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.

Here's a video tutorial - hit play, then right-click for "full screen".

Here's an example of how to add references:

Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>

== References ==

{{reflist}}

That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.

Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

November 2014[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   Philg88 talk 16:58, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I think the block was very unfair. I had added ONLY 5 links in the external links section of 5 pages. I repeat, only 5 links. And all of them were relevant. They are weather information for those locations. I do not work for this particular website or company. I just thought they will be relevant to the readers. Removing the links could be an editors prerogative. But blocking the ID after only 5 links is purely injustice. Looking at the fact that this is the first time I tried adding a few links ( and that too relevant ones) I guess I deserve a second chance. Please unblock my ID

Decline reason:

Did you not know that every edit you made is recorded, and that any administrator assessing your unblock request would check your editing history? Apart from this unblock request, every one of your 26 edits since you created this account in February 2012 has been either writing a promotional article about merinews or adding links to either merinews or its associated website skymetweather. You have not added only five such links: you have added twelve links to articles other than the article Merinews. This is not, as you claim, the first time you have added such links: you have done so since January 2013. If you really don't work for the business in question, then it is remarkable that in a few months short of three years you have chosen to make no edits at all that don't serve to promote that business and web sites associated with it. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
