Speedy deletion nomination of Ziinga

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Ziinga, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. February 2012

[edit]

Do not create, add, or restore hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did with the article Ziinga. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Ziinga

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ziinga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bihco (talk) 06:46, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability, reliable sources, etc

[edit]

To see what sort of article about a business is acceptable, have a look at Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations. Also relevant are the general notability guideline, the guideline on notability of organisations and companies, and the guideline on reliable sources. I don't know whether or not Ziinga satisfies the notability guidelines, but if it does then those pages should give you an idea of how to show that it does, and if it doesn't then reading those pages may help you to avoid wasting time on creating an article which is doomed from the start to be deleted.
