McCormick Road[edit]

Hi--I followed a wikilink from the UVA article and found your article on McCormick Road (UVA). There's an impressive amount of content here, and I'm glad to see your efforts as someone else who writes UVA related articles. A few comments from someone who's been doing this for a while, which you can ignore as you wish: :)

  1. You may want to group the content by facility type (dorms, academic buildings, libraries) to keep the page from growing absolutely unnavigable.
  2. Some of the material (lists of equipment, classroom sizes) is probably non-notable by Wikipedia standards and should be condensed or omitted for clarity. Remember, we're writing an encyclopedia.

When you're further along with the article, I hope you'll add the University of Virginia template and add it to Wikipedia:WikiProject University of Virginia. Good luck! -Tjarrett (talk) 13:13, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article McCormick Road (Charlottesville) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not establish notability, unreferenced since Feb 2011.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
