You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  - Barek (talkcontribs) - 21:55, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have posted a factual and informative bit of information which is relevant to the people of "OUR Community" (warren county nj) and a major situation that has implications here for all citizens, voters and tax payers countywide, it has grown to the point where people are publicly protesting in the streets, distributing tens of thousands of flyers, sending emails, making phone calls and as of late taking to social media via a website www.sheriffbullock.org and facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Sheriff-Bullock-275133382825289/ Furthermore, articles from the newspapers and Television news that have been covering this topic for the past 30 years have been cited and referenced, however, I do not understand why I am being blocked and/or cyber bullied because someone outside of our community with no knowledge or understanding of the topic doesn't like the post and continues to arbitrarily delete it every time its posted on a whim. I request to be unblocked immediately and guidance from an administrator on how to best contribute this information to our county page (e.g. shorten post, create sheriff bullock Wikipedia page and/or combination of both etc.) Thanks. W.C. Justice (talk) 22:27, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

None of this allows you to ignore consensus or engage in an edit war. Please take the time to read Wikipedia:Edit warring thoroughly before continuing. Note also that you need sources that meet WP:RS; links to Facebook pages, for example, are insufficient. Remember, you may be right but that does not permit you to edit war or to avoid reliable citations. I know this can be tricky to understand, that's why I'm explicitly linking to the policies here in my response to your unblock request. Yamla (talk) 22:48, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{ I did not engage in an edit war, I posted someone deleted, I re-posted and someone kept deleting so on and so forth, I did not delete anyone's stuff that was done to me. so wouldn't I be the victim of edit warring? Also there was no "consensus" to be had, wikidan61 just wanted to keep deleting post in its entirety, furthermore, 'there are dozens (over 20) references of newspaper and Television News stations coverage regarding the topic, the website and fb page was an example and preceded mention of said articles and news coverage (DUH) and considering its the most trafficked site countywide I included mention for reference did you even look at the post? Also I can have another administrator unblock correct or just have someone else post it? Anyway thanks for nothing... GFY! W.C. Justice (talk) 23:08, 29 June 2016 (UTC)}}[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

Note, you say that "I did not edit war" but you are currently edit warring. Please stop. ThePlatypusofDoom (Talk) 23:36, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How am I edit warring? again I did not remove anyone's contributions, they removed my posts? I am just seeking resolution from from a sensible person.

I did not engage in an edit war, I posted someone deleted, I re-posted and someone kept deleting so on and so forth -- that's the precise definition of edit warring. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 06:31, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove declined unblock requests while the block is still in effect, per Wikipedia:User pages#Removal of comments, notices, and warnings. Other discussions or posts to your talk page can be removed at any time you choose; but declined unblock requests are one of a handful of items that have community restrictions on their removal. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:11, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.
Note: continued personal attacks, such as the one done in this edit are likely to result in your block being extended, and talk page access being revoked. You have been provided links to Wikipedia policies and guidelines - if you choose to ignore those community established policies and guidelines, your unblock request is unlikely to be accepted. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:41, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

Due to persistent talk page abuse and personal attacks, I have both revoked your talk page access, and the block has been extended to indefinite. I have left your most recent unblock request active, so that another admin can review the activity on this talk page. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 02:11, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
