Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Alex Jones (radio). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Alex Jones (radio). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. HalfShadow (talk) 18:35, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. <eleland/talkedits> 03:22, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for your note. That shows you're willing to discuss things, which is part of how Wikipedia operates, and it's a good sign. Another part of how Wikipedia operates is that you don't edit war. If you keep inserting the same information repeatedly, when everybody else disagrees with including it, you'll be blocked from editing. Yet another part is that information - even if it is true - should not be included in Wikipedia without citing a reliable source.
  • I'd like you to consider that just because the videos give the date as 25 July 2001, doesn't mean that they actually were from 25 July 2001. Anybody can say a date in a video and put a datestamp on it. Thus, the video itself is not a reliable source. If the given date were attested to by a reliable source, it would be suitable for inclusion on Wikipedia. <eleland/talkedits> 03:55, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:08, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

April 2008[edit]

I appreciate you talking over some of your edits, but a statement [1] that Jones predicted the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, has to have a proper source. Wikipedia info must be verifiable through reliable sources, especially on pages about living people. Please don't add the information again without a reliable secondary source. Thanks! You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

I meant to put this in before the block, but User:Hu12 beat me to it. Please stop readding your edits to the Alex Jones (radio) page. It is best to discuss edits on talk pages, as other editors have tried to do with you here. As you were warned above, wikipedia has a three revert rule policy. It's much better to discuss things on talk pages and try and gain consensus, rather than just keep edit warring. Redrocket (talk) 06:06, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not just a question of wording, it's a question of verifiability. If you're going to add a bombshell like that to an article you need to be able to back it up with something from a credible source. HalfShadow (talk) 15:50, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
