Welcome![edit]

Hello, WendsP! Thank you so much for coming to the Napier Connect Editathon yesterday - it was great to meet you all!

Now that we've created your userpage and learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in and have a go at editing some articles. Don't worry about being perfect, Wiki is a constantly evolving entity. Fortunately there's a whole team of editors just like you who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon!

Oh and...[edit]

A couple of things I thought might interest you...

To keep up to date about Wikimedia events happening throughout Scotland, to learn more about ScotWiki projects, or to publicise your own ScotWiki event or project, join the ScotWiki Mailing List!

To help tackle the gender gap on Wiki, you could join the Gender Gap Task Force, or the Gender Gap mailing list

Scottish Fairground Culture Editathon, May 2015[edit]

Hey there! As a Wikipedian in Scotland I thought you might be interested in the Scottish Fairground Culture editathon taking place on 7 May at the Riverside Museum - drop me a line if you'd like to know more, or if you'd be interested in taking part remotely! Wiki meet[edit]

Hi, you are cordially invited to our next ScotWiki meetup. The National Library of Scotland is extremely accessible via train for those travelling from outside the city, and via bus for Edinburgh residents. Its visitor centre offers food, drinks, and WiFi and should give us plenty of room to meet and have a chat after work!

Join the ScotWiki Mailing list!

If you can't attend this meetup, but are interested in possibly attending other Wikimedia events in Scotland, or want to keep track of what's going on in the Scottish World of Wiki, join the ScotWiki Mailing List now!

Hopefully see you there, Stinglehammer (talk) 11:17, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
