Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Fareham has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. ukexpat (talk) 21:10, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 21:20, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
I have warned the IP editor Special:Contributions/86.158.101.104, whom you were reverting; but I urge you to carefully attend to the warning issued to you by SarekOfVulcan, who is an administrator. While the material you were reverting was indeed improper, for reasons which have been explained by SarekOfVulcan and another independent editor who likewise removed the material, and also by myself in my comment to on User talk:86.158.101.104, repetitive reversion of other than clear vandalism, also called edit warring, is not allowed unless good-faith efforts are made to find consensus, and especially if the reverts are not explained in edit summaries, or, much better, by discussion on the attached Talk page. Reversion without edit summaries or discussion invites uncivil response and is disruptive. You violated WP:3RR in the last 24 hours, you could easily have been blocked immediately if you continued after warning. If you don't know how to deal with repetitive insertion of improper material, get help. I'd be happy to assist if you ask, and so would just about any administrator or experienced user. --Abd (talk) 01:23, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
