June 2007

[edit]

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page Newman College (Perth) on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Before adding content to school related articles, it's a good idea to read this essay. Don't hesitate to contact me via my talk page with any questions. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Ninjas.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 04:00, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Pirates versus Ninjas appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Chuck Sirloin (talk) 04:34, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:Ninjas.JPG

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Ninjas.JPG, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:Ninjas.JPG|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Invalid proof

[edit]

I have reverted your recent addition to the invalid proof article. The number of invalid proofs is endless, and there were already several examples of the "division by 0" fallacy in the article. And dividing both sides of an equation by 0 then arbitrarily claiming that one side is 1 and the other side is "infinity" is stretching the laws of arithemtic too far to be a plausible invalid proof.
If you want to add further examples to the article, I suggest you provide a reliable source for them, which shows that they are notable and not original research by yourself. Gandalf61 (talk) 07:59, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
