[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Maltoran.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 20:55, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'm Wierdox speaking with a word bubble. Wierdox (talk) 20:45, 9 July 2010‎ (UTC)[reply]

Word bubbles

[edit]

I suggest you stop using them. They are plainly disruptive as they can be seen as attention-seeking; if you start using them on talk pages or noticeboards, you will likely be asked to stop using them. I'm sorry to say, but they are an eye-sore. It may work on zelda-wiki, but it will not work here.— dαlus Contribs 21:04, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a further note, avatars are strictly prohibited as constant use, for instance, in signatures, because they are going to be transcluded to thousands of places. If you do not remove it, I shall open the necessary discussion on ANI.— dαlus Contribs 21:06, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Read WP:SIG regarding use of images and templates in signatures, and why they're not allowed. —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 21:53, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Wierdoxrequest.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip [i.e. a Word document or PDF file] that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — dαlus Contribs 22:09, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Bo choking Tequan Richmond.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 15:43, 20 September 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 15:43, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Graph.JPG missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Graph.JPG is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:07, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Philosopher, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Practice (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Notice

The file File:Wierdox's Cursor.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
