Speedy deletion nomination of 306 Northern Avenue (MBTA station)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on 306 Northern Avenue (MBTA station) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Adding Links.
[edit]Please stop adding links on MBTA pages to pages that do not exist or are disambiguation pages. Links like this just clutter the page and confuse readers. If you create a new page feel free to link to it in other articles, but please do not add the links before.--Found5dollar (talk) 15:06, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
I understand you are creating pages, but please do not link to it until after the page is out in the main part of wikipedia. Also, when you post on someone's page, please post on their "Discussion" page, not "User Page" as the later could be misconstrued as vandalism.--Found5dollar (talk) 23:09, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Station listing
[edit]The order of the stations should be ones that exist, not that just have a page. There is no station there right now, so Assembly Square should not be listed as the next station. Grk1011 (talk) 16:29, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive; until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
I'm glad to see you have an interest in the MBTA, and your Assembly Square station article looks like a good start. But please stop trying to add the link in the section title. It is confusing to readers and is against Wikipedia guidelines.
Also, please remember that the preview button is your friend. It's better to make one edit that works, even if it takes longer, than it is to make five or six edits in the space of a few minutes.
Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions on editing, or if you'd like help with the Assembly Square page. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 16:37, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Wih Lmi's father: thanks for the notification; all makes sense now. He's mostly been a reasonable editor and edited in good faith, so we're glad to have him around. I'll keep an eye on his edits. Regards, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 04:12, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- I too would like to say thank you for letting me know what was going on. If you have any questions regarding Wikipedia policy or guidelines please feel free to ask.--Found5dollar (talk) 17:51, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
