Drop towers[edit]

Think you can add a source or two to backup the changes you made recently at Drop tower? Specifically, the statement, "Most drop towers use a magnetic braking system...", but also the other one where you added info about Larson and Funtime. Hi!

The content I removed was “According to the Anti-Defamation League, while Brooks had expressed many anti-semitic beliefs and opinions online, "there appears to be little evidence that Brooks actively subscribes to an overarching extremist ideology."

I did not think this was a relevant or appropriate paragraph to include in the article. Immediately before this paragraph, it is explained that the suspect expressed racism and anti-Semitism online. Why should a random person’s opinion about his motives be part of an objective Wikipedia article? Whether he “subscribed to an overarching extremist ideology” or not, the fact is he committed the heinous crime anyway.

It would be like saying yeah, this person shot up an African-American church, but while they expressed extreme racism online and actually committed a racist crime, they weren’t actually part of the KKK. So what?

If these arguments aren’t compelling, leave the paragraph in. I just wanted to share my thoughts and reasoning.

You made a mistake. The name of the roller coaster is X2, not X². The reliable source is the park's very own website (https://www.sixflags.com/magicmountain/attractions/x2-coaster) and the fact that it is pronounced "X Two" and not "X Squared".
