Wikiproject Chican@s
Welcome aboard! There is quite a bit of work to be done on this project. Feel free to add to the project pages and the to-do list. I notice you are interested in Chicano rap. That article and its daughter articles are in need of some serious research and citations. If you have any trouble or questions, don't hesitate to ask me! Welcome again, --Rockero 05:36, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, I am mostly into the older Chicano rap artists like Kid Frost, Meloman Ace, and Lighter Shade of Brown. Also, I am into Chicano oldies like Thee Midniters. I look forward to editing. Regards. Wiki Raja 05:39, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Raja, Thanks for the award. By the way, thanks for the works in Tamil related articles. I may have joined you, but here's a lot to do in Ayyavazhi articles. Also regarding Ayyavazhi, limited no of users are there and so I need a lot of time to be spend here. Thanks - Paul Raj 15:17, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Categories
Do we need a Category:Dravidian civilizations when we already have a Category:Dravidian people ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 04:52, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Jossi, there is actually a WikiProject called Dravidian civlizations. That is why I have created the Category:Dravidian civilizations and to put everything in sub-categories under that title. Sub-categories would be Dravidian people, Dravidian architecture, etc. Please let me know what you think. Regards. Wiki Raja 04:55, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, just to let you know that the abovementioned article is in the main namespace. You probably wanted to put it at User:Wiki Raja/Dravidian civilizations. -- Hongooi 07:14, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. I am almost done with the article and will change the name of it. Wiki Raja 07:17, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Now that you have created User:Wiki Raja/Dravidian civilizations(article), I have deleted your original blanked page because it wasn't in the correct place. GizzaDiscuss © 10:27, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Good Work!
Raja, Great work!!! Also I've gone through the article Dravidian Civilisation couple of days before. And from the page history I come to know that you are the major contributor and immedietly I get impressed, by your work, Thanks. Paul Raj 12:51, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. Hope you like the info on Ayyavazhi I included in the Religions section. Regards. Wiki Raja 19:07, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed you created this article, but one of the edits [1] expressed the concern that it was copied and pasted from several other articles. While this page is currently on AFD, it's not for that reason, but I do believe there's enough of a concern that I'd like to know if you did do so. This is because the GFDL requires proper attribution to the material it came from, at least if it's from other GFDL material. There are other concerns, but I'm not convinced by them meriting deletion. FrozenPurpleCube 03:42, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, with all due respect I have created this article with over 30 referrenced sources. Furthermore, segments of the article that was taken from parts of other related articles had the link:
This was to link the reader to the Main page of the particular article. An example of that can be found from the following articles which have done the same:
- Would you suggest that I reword some of the sections in the article? Regards.
- Wiki Raja 04:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, I was quite impressed by the sources used, and consider it quite a good job. I'm not sure if taking segments from an article which you link directly to is enough, you may wish to put something on the talk page? Perhaps there's something in an existing template. I don't know. I'm not sure about those other pages, they've got such a long edit history, that I can't pick out where the contents you're talking about were added, but I *hope* that if it was done, it was done with an edit summary that identified where it came from. RE : You're invited
Thanks for inviting me, Wiki Raja, but I personally think I shouldn't be joining any new WikiProjects at the moment since I have other tasks to fulfil. However, I would be interested to join the Dravidian civilizations WikiProject possibly in October, November, December 2007 or at latest, by February 2008. Anyway, I would be interested to know what tasks I will be able to contribute to that will help to popularise (or increase the quality of) that WikiProject and indirectly, help Wikipedia grow.
Unfortunately, I don't even know what Dravidian civilizations are. Acs4b T C U 03:40, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Dravidian Project
I shall be glad to participate in the venture.Kumarrao 14:18, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Re: You're Invited!
Hi Wiki Raja,
Thank you for your invitation. Although I know very little about Dravidian civilizations, I will try to help out whenever I have time, which unfortunately is going to get scarce for the next few months due to real life pressures. But I appreciate the gesture. - Max - You were saying? 21:34, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Invitation
Thanks a lot for the invitation to the project. I shall be glad to help in every way I can. Your user page is excellent, very informative and a treat for the eyes. --AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 04:28, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
By alphabetical order, my name would be first. Chronological seems most appropriate--- so I hope its fine. Thanking You, AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 05:11, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. Chronological would be good. Regards. Wiki Raja 06:03, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Dear WikiRaja,
Your revert is dubbed vandalism by User:Dineshkannambadi. I reverted it. I agree with User:Kumarrao's questions on the talk page. I believe Wikipedia does not consider individuals' wepages as RS. Nor for that matter, newspaper reports and websites run by local associations and organizations which do not have official sanction. We should respect views published in books with proper research. Some viewpoints may be supported by a single citation with authentic evidence. We should respect such views too.Tejam 18:04, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Malayalam font
Raja, I am not familiar with Malayalam script. I just cut and pasted from the Malayalam wikipedia. Anyway, I haven't noticed the problem you mentioned before. Let me watch for some time and see if I also see that problem. My guess is, it is something to do with your local system. --Sivaraj 06:53, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Reg: Pallava Userbox
hi raja, thanks for adding that Pallava Userbox there, but the content text is not visible in that font color! pls change it!
-Simha_NV 06:04, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- hi, what color would you suggest? Wiki Raja 06:38, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- This is the original one i created!
This user is interested in the Pallava Empire |
- I have changed the color to your original version. I just thought that the wording was a little too dark to read. Also, I have changed the name of the template to a shorter one. Lastly, the Pallava template is also available for others to use in the main userboxes page! Thanks for bringing this up in regards to a Pallava userbox. Regards. Wiki Raja 16:27, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
How can I inform you my mail ID?Kumarrao 06:49, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- You would have to add it to your Wikipedia account, then you can e-mail me by posting it here or going to my user page and clicking on the toolbox of the left hand margin titled "E-mail this user". Once you do that I would receive an e-mail from you. After that, if you want, you can remove it from your Wikipedia account, unless you decide to still keep it in your account.
