Your edit on Naipaul about his Bhumihar brahmin antecedents has been reverted. You may open a thread on Talk:V. S. Naipaul and attempt to reach a consensus for your edit, if you'd like. A consensus typically takes time as it involves an agreement between disputants. Wikieditor369, I have reverted your latest edit to the Naipaul article becuase, as an encyclopedia, wikipedia is based upon secondary sources and not by editors "providing authentic primary sources" for other wikipedia editors to analyse and approve. Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics.
