Sleepers

[edit]

Alright, now you've got me genuinely curious. What's all this about, then? android79 20:52, 21 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Esperanza? What's your problem with esperanza? Are you impying that a comittiee formed and moderated by our resident moonie beurocrat could serve in some way to push political bias? and serve as a safe harbor for trolls and vandals?? absurd--22222222 g 19:10, 22 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Experienced user

[edit]

In regard to your edit of purplefeltangel's talk page you say "I've been around this site almost since the beginning" But the user log says your account was created four days ago? Did you delete your acount for some reason? Also, since your an experinced user do you know how purplefeltangel finds spelling mistakes so fast? She won't tell me.

re: RfA

[edit]

How do you withdraw an RfA early? ♥♥purplefeltangel 19:12, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I will join you in your efforts

[edit]
  • I suggest you single them out by placing this tag {{Sleeper_troll}} on their user pages once you suspect them, we can compile a list at [[category:Know Sleeper Trolls]] and [[Category:Suspected Sleeper Trolls]], what do you think of such an idea?--64.12.116.195 18:27, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Note this user placed {{sleeper troll}} on your user and talk pages. I have removed them. -- Curps 19:47, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

[edit]

If you're really a normal user, and not a panic-mongering troll (which is by no means clear), you're likely to get more attention and have more success in fixing the problems you see in the system if you use your actual account. Regards — Dan | Talk 17:41, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

from WP:AN/I

[edit]

I have moved this material here because I believe it is inappropriate for AN/I unless you can either substantiate it or vouch for it from the user account in good standing that you purport to have. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 18:09, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal Image Deletion

[edit]

Wikipedia is full of breathtakingly beautiful images of European cityscapes and natural phenomena. Those are the type of images the "underground" admins are going to delete first. There was even talk of compling a "hit list" of the most precious images to be permanently deleted during the attack. In my opinion, that would be terrible. That is one of the main reasons I want to stop these people.Wikiphilosopher 16:48, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If such vandalism is truly going to occur and you really want to stop these "underground" admins, why aren't you identifying them? At the very least, email a trusted admin or even Jimbo himself. I'm not sure what you expect to be done with such vague warnings. Carbonite | Talk 16:59, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I thought you were speaking in theory above, but now you're talking like you mean particular people. Please email me a list - David Gerard 17:01, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
David, these are probably the same people you know of from message boards bragging about it openly. I am thinking about emailing Jimbo personally, however, I don't know just how involved he is in the details of Wikipedia:en anymore.Wikiphilosopher 17:21, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If you're serious, e-mail Jimbo, else you'll probably be ignored, since attempting to induce panic is a common troll tactic. — Dan | Talk 17:28, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If you have such information, I'm sure Jimbo would be extremely interested, regardless of how involved he normally is with day-to-day operations. Also, what message boards are you referring to? Thanks. Carbonite | Talk 17:29, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That was David G. that was talking about the blogs and message boards where these kids are posting that.Wikiphilosopher 17:58, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
