Proposed deletion of List of Christian lead singles

[edit]

The article List of Christian lead singles has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This seems to me to be an arbitrary and ill defined list article which is not maintainable. It will either sprawl out of control or it will wither in its current state. It does not seem to serve any purpose. Why only lead singles? Why only Christian artists? Does it include all artists who are Christian or just those that make an issue of it in their music or only those who perform in specifically Christian music genres? If complete the list could have many thousand entries, which makes me think that it can never be completed. Maybe a category could be used but even then I doubt that would serve much purpose.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
