Hello and welcome to the Trains WikiProject! Thank you for adding your name to our project membership list. Our goal is to build the most comprehensive and detailed guide to rail transport on Wikipedia. As a project member, you may add the project membership userbox to your user page if you wish.

If you haven't done so already, please add our main project page to your watchlist and take some time to review the Trains project manual of style where we have collected guidelines and suggestions on notability and style for a consistent representation of rail transport related material. If you're curious about where to start, we've gathered a few suggestions in the Trains project to do list. If you'd like to specialize in a particular area of study within rail transport, take a look at the current Trains project task forces.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the project talk page or on my talk page. Again, welcome and happy editing! SharadbobTalkC 10:37, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Hello, Witnessforpeace - You've indicated an interest in railroad history in the U.S, with access "to many publications of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society." Dr. John Tennison is a researcher in the origins of Boogie Woogie music which developed from lumber camps in east Texas along now-defunct railways. Should you have any information pertaining to Dr. Tennison's research he would greatly appreciate hearing from you. I invite you to peruse his website http://www.bowofo.org/ His email address is nonjohn@nonjohn.com

Thank you for your consideration and your contributions to Wikipedia.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gender roles in Christianity, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Evangelical Presbyterian Church (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
