Abiogenesis[edit]

Hello. I reverted some of your edits at Abiogensis. I'm sure you are very knowledgeable on the topic, but you need to cite reliable sources for any new content you add. Wikipedia is also an encyclopedia, not an academic paper or personal blog. This means that editors should not add their own analysis and thoughts into articles as you did here. Hope this message helps you understand why I reverted your edits. Feel free to add any appropriate content back with citations to reliable sources. Bennv3771 (talk) 11:26, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bennv3771 I am not sure how to communicate with other editors, so I wonder whether this is the place to do so. Maybe I should also explain what my intentions are. I have made several overall changes, because I thought that the wiki is/was unstructured. In my experience of a long time ago as technical writer (of software manuals), creating a simple and clear structure makes editing much easier (and helps avoiding conflicts: but I assume there will be no conflicts on wikipedia, as everyone is a volunteer ;) ). So where I saw a way to rearrange the structure of the whole, I started to do so, and I have not seen little disapproval (or approval) yet.

Some disagreement is to be expected. The meaning of entropy, and how it was discovered, is a controversy since the 19th century, with nationalistic undertones, just as other discoveries in thermodynamics. I only wanted to give a sketch of the historical development. Maybe I put too many changes in one session. Anyway, your objections are not too clear to me. Please clarify.
