Flag icons

I'm informing you that your use of {{Flag icon}}s in articles such as 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics doesn't align with how they're typically meant to be used in infoboxes, per MOS:INFOBOXFLAG. In the context of sporting events, they are meant for "representing the nationality of participants" – some good examples of this are UEFA Euro 2024 and 2022 FIFA World Cup. — AFC Vixen 🦊 07:43, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
