Request reason:

I'm not the same person as LiquidNix, we work in the same office building, we're "sort of" colleagues and that's all it is. I'm here to help as you can see from my edit history, I use a totally different etiquette in my approach and express myself very differently. How about you block me when I've actually done something wrong? I've done nothing, but help wikipedia so far and the only reason I've not helped and contributed more is because the user Dissident93 hasn't replied to my requests/questions on how to proceed.

Decline reason:

Same IP address, same computer, same browser, same articles. This is WP:MEAT at best, which you admit to. No, the block is appropriate. Yamla (talk) 17:40, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Guys please....if you say so lol. Of course its the same article, same IP very possible, same PC - no, not in a million years, nobody touches my PC, it's locked when I'm not around. I'm not going to roll over and cry for you messing up here. Of course we know each other, we don't benefit in any way by providing you accurate info, except the general feeling good part that we've helped others. We work in esports, so we know what we're talking about. You don't, obviously. So many "teams" with dead, unupdated pages that reserve their right to hold a wiki page and not get "moved" yet LGD Gaming, which is on of the hottest organizations from China, probably only behind RNG and EDG can't get its own page? Do you see the double standard? As someone who's highly interested in promoting esports worldwide, this is atrocious to look at, so please again check my edit and post history and tell me which part is offensive or rude or ban-worthy. My colleague got pissed you denied his edit and we talked about it, but it is what it is, it frustrates me too, but I rather discuss it intelligently and if you don't want to listen - well it's your loss, you'll be losing a handful of contributors that can provide accurate info. I'm not here for any agenda, I'm here to promote esports(all of it), but I do specialize in Asian organizations mostly, so that's where I feel most confident to help out. Dissident93 - I'm not here to argue semantics, fella. I was here to help. Now you got me banned, with appeal flat out declined, yay thanks, so impressive...that's why we can't have nice things.

So please, unban me and ban me permanently the second I do something wrong, alright? I'm not going to appeal any future bans, but this one is just silly. Again, look at my history of edits, find something that's ban-worthy, find something manipulative or inaccurate... Yamla Worldless0 (talk) 18:55, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. this wikipedia is confusing sorry I deleted some things in an attempt to make it clearer, I can provide you easily verifiable info, however the syntax/formatting here is definitely not for me.

@Dissident93: Hey. I want to congratulate you, The current state of the PSG.LGD page is actually not far away from perfect, it's pretty decent. And it's sad so much time and "sacrifices" were needed to get there. I only advise that a separate one for LGD gaming should be created and If I knew how, I'd provide all the sources you need. But here's where you can start:

1. https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/LGD_Gaming - Overwatch Team

2. https://lol.gamepedia.com/LGD_Gaming - LoL team

3. https://pubg-esports.gamepedia.com/LGD_Gaming - LGD.PUBG

4. Also I suggest there is a PSG.LGD subset or at least link in the supposed LGD Gaming main page, since any PSG.LGD achievements are LGD achievements - the titles, the trophies and the earnings go to LGD. Again, PSG is just a partner. They didn't acquire or buy or loan the team, it's a mutual partnership, I myself am confused as to why, but that's the fact and I'm not arguing about it. As you can see, I'm here to help and I really want to help on other articles, but I won't have peace until we finish with this one first, so please unblock me and let's get this over with. Or to put it bluntly, 'What do you want me to do to unblock me?'. I'll comply to any rules and guidelines as I think that's the modern, tolerable, informed and democratic way to prove my legitimacy and the fact that I'm here to make wikipedia a better place for everyone. Worldless0 (talk) 19:20, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@NinjaRobotPirate: Hey. I've entered the Wikimedia Discord group and discussed my case with @Ferret. He advised me to ping you, asking to be reviewed. If there's any info you need, let me know. I'll comply to any rules, but please overturn that ban and I advise you to keep an eye on me and ban me without the possibility of appeal if I indeed do something wrong, even the slightest offensive word. I'm really here to help. I'm having a great conversation with @Ferret on discord right now and I'm not disagreeing on anhything he says and I'll still contribute even if the ban persists, but I won't be able to do it myself, I'll simply have to provide the info in the wikimedia #WPVG channel for others to verify and act upon. I mean, I do want to keep a pristine reputation, so please allow me to stay on and be able to help. I would've contacted you sooner actually, but I thought you're a bot account that does that automatically. Cheers. Worldless0 (talk) 20:13, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

NRP, the rough here is that Wordless0 claims Liquidnix is an assistant and they edit from the same location. -- ferret (talk) 20:25, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what Discord is or what it has to do with Wikipedia. Make an unblock request, and it will be reviewed. One of your unblock requests was already addressed and declined, but you removed it. Please don't do that. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:53, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@NinjaRobotPirate: The discord channel for wikimedia where admins, moderators & contributors discuss stuff (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ferret#Discord.)- I joined for some clarifications and info, that's all , just stating that I'm on good terms and intend to be on good terms here. For the removal of the unblock reason, yeah my bad. It was an accident and I've already apologized for it (look up in my talk page) - I was trying to remove the unneeded info and reapply with a second unblock, but like I've mentioned multiple times already - wikipedia formatting/syntax is pretty strange to me. Worldless0 (talk) 21:19, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If I were to bring it back to what it was, it meant I would've attempted to edit someone else's text and by no means I'll ever attempt to do that. So again, I apologize for ruining the unblock request. Worldless0 (talk) 21:29, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discord is purely unofficial and has no standing on Wikipedia. -- ferret (talk) 21:26, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get you banned, I requested for other editors at WT:VG to give their opinion on the talk to help settle the longstanding issue. You were found guilty of sockpuppetry by the tools of another user. But back to the topic, you state "I only advise that a separate one for LGD gaming should be created and If I knew how, I'd provide all the sources you need. But here's where you can start:" and then give me Liquidpedia and other wikia links, both of which fail WP:N/WP:RS, which has been my entire issue with the page the whole time. The majority of reliable, third-party sources that have discussed LGD have done so for the Dota team, not their League, Overwatch, or other games they have divisions in. If this was taken to a proper AfD, it most likely would have failed and been deleted due to this. Please check WP:VG/RS for a list of sources that we should be using if you want to help. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 22:59, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Dissident93: The only reason I haven't given you reliable sources(yet) is because you made it impossible to move on further discussing the changes to the PSG.LGD page and make a separate for LGD. With 3 different people suggesting what you finally did anyway, we weren't going anywhere, so I was waiting for that to be resolved before I continue to add sources myself, not just for the PSG-LGD scenario. Or to put it in another way - why should I add more info and try to help more, when even the initial tips/hints didn't make any progress. I'm currently banned and in review, so I've got even less motivation to continue to help. Hopefully this will all be resolved and I can contribute the way you want me to. Just because you know who PSG are, doesn't mean LGD are nobodies, you know? Chinese teams are bridged out from the west and have a lot less exposure here, but in Asia they're huuuuge. So just because you haven't heard or don't know, doesn't mean there aren't tons of third party sources out there - you just have to have some sense and take a look. Worldless0 (talk) 00:12, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What? I've literally waited months for people to provide reliable sources so we could try and fix the overall LGD Gaming page in order to prevent it from going to its current format (Dota 2/PSG rebranding specific). And I'm aware that they should have way more good sources in Chinese, it's just that they are both hard to find (which is why I asked that they be provided) and not ideal due to this being an English encyclopedic. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 03:29, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I was waiting for the pages to get separated so I can contribute to the LGD part. Liquidniix who got banned, got banned exactly for that. He made a few edits, all of which reverted back, right? I didn't want to follow that path. The PSG.LGD part didn't need much to be improved, the player roster was up to date, the info was all okay, just needed to separate the info and add some sources, as far as I can tell the page is good as it is right now, although not very detailed. It's something anyone could've added, I wanted to help out with the more difficult stuff. If I knew I can contribute on my own, I'd ask you right now what do you suggest we do and how to organize it properly. I can even get some photos for it.Worldless0 (talk) 03:53, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
He ignored the talk page discussions about the situation and went ahead and made his own edits anyway, and was later banned for making personal attacks against me (which violates Wikipedia policy and doesn't fix the article anyway). I think this is where you are confused; the pages were never going to be separate. The options (as of the time of the original post) were to remove all non-Dota 2/pre-PGS rebranding info due to lack of sourcing for its other game divisions and rewrite the article to only be about PSG.LGD (this is the current format), or find the sources that it was lacking and just have PSG.LGD as a redirect to the Dota 2 section on the LGD Gaming page. This option is preferred, but like I've said many times by now, we need better sources than just Liquidpedia and social media links; those may pass WP:V, but not WP:N/WP:RS. So as for right now, it's just going to be kept at PSG.LGD until this can be done. If they exist and you are aware of them, provide them here and I will add them to the article. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:36, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I get the feeling that you just want to take a shortcut in solving the issue instead of putting some actual work that would bring up more information and clarity. I hope I'm wrong though. Sources are available and if I get unblocked I'll personally start overseeing they are brought to your attention. LGD Gaming has no shortage of references and sources outside other wikis and official social media.Worldless0 (talk) 22:05, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Please allow me to stay, give me the benefit of the doubt until I do something wrong, I intend on helping out here, by all means monitor my activities and edits. We've already made progress in the aformentioned PSG.LGD page that has been fixed, which started all this unnecessary drama, now we just need to expand on it. Also many other asian (Chinese & Korean) teams have their pages heavily outdated, some 3 years ago, I have the ability to update them with sources and all.

Decline reason:

I don't see anything resembling a coherent explanation of your relation to LiquidNix beyond "sort of colleague" and "assistant", but that alone suggests that you have some paid-editing disclosure to do in order not to violate the Terms of Use. Huon (talk) 09:22, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Tons of these articles shouldn't even be on Wikipedia due failing WP:GNG. If you can't find reliable third-party sources, either through mainstream media (such as ESPN) or ones listed at WP:VG/RS, then they might just be better off deleted. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 23:01, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Huon: PAID EDITING? PAID EDITING!?!??!? What in the ass? Just because someone wants to contribute into fixing an article, because it's moderators are incompetent and lazy, doesn't mean we get paid for it.

You know what, you've already lost me. Keep the ban, I absolutely don't care anymore. It's your site that's holding shit and outdated data, not mine. Fuck yourselves, unreasonable maggots, all of you. :@Dissident93: :@Huon: @NinjaRobotPirate: Keep your shitty pages out of date, while Liquipedia and Gamepedia continue to take ALL Of your gaming traffic. Bloody hell, ignorant asswipes.

"I use a totally different etiquette in my approach and express myself very differently." Somehow this etiquette and expression reminds me very strongly of LiquidNix. Huon (talk) 22:19, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
