External links[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. JFW | T@lk 07:30, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What links do you mean? Everything I added was to contribute certain articles and those links lead to my own web pages with appropriate and unique information. --Wrangray (talk) 15:21, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think many of your links do not meet the criteria in Wikipedia:External links. Also please note I plan on merging early pregnancy test into pregnancy test tomorrow per my explanation here. LyrlTalk C 16:48, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, maybe you are right. I'm a newbie here and I really tried to follow the rules finding the resources that give more facts or useful information related to the main subject. As for early pregnancy test I just tried to found a new page here and it was my first experience. if you suppose it is not worth independent existing, well, you are in charge here ;) Wrangray (talk) 11:31, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not in charge of anything - Wikipedia operates on WP:consensus and your opinion has just as much weight as mine does. I'm glad you came to Wikipedia - I really liked the information on the history of home pregnancy tests that you found. It takes a while to get used to all the rules and regulations Wikipedias like to cite - we even have a rule about not biting new people who haven't had time to learn the rules. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have, and I hope you stay around and keep contributing! LyrlTalk C 16:00, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Retrouvailles grand.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Retrouvailles grand.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:34, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Yann Tiersen Les Retrouvailles 2005.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Yann Tiersen Les Retrouvailles 2005.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 03:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
