Fair use rationale for Image:OWU.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:OWU.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Speedy deletion of One World United

A tag has been placed on One World United, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Your user page is a place to talk about you, to explain what you wish to contribute to this project and frankly mention things about you that might be considered to represent a source of possible bias or point-of-view problems. Instead, your user page was used to write about a company. Notability of One World United

The difference between Coca Cola/Kellogs (as you mentioned on the article's talk page) and your article on OWU is notability. This is an encyclopedia so we're looking for articles where the subject matter has notability supported by 3rd party references. Even a very new company can be notable. Without notability articles about companies (particularly those written by employees) not only have the appearance of advertising they would violate Wikipedia's policy concerning conflicts of interest. With this in mind you might want to recreate your article on a subpage of your userpage, giving yourself a chance to flesh it out before it is subject to deletion. Make sure to get at least one 3rd party reference to establish notability and your article will have a better chance to remain. Rob Banzai (talk) 16:01, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
