Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Jesus Seminar

[edit]

definitely focuses on the authentic words of Jesus Wrongjohn (talk) 22:55, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Different ideal completely. The Jesus Seminar tried to decide which words were and were not authentically those of Jesus. While the Red Letter Christian movement accepts the Gospels unequivocally and simply suggests that we should follow them. No value judgment is placed on the received text and no commentary is made on secondary texts. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:06, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
this is a See Also reference which includes other links that steer toward a Christianity based upon an authentic Jesus. The gospel 'canon' has evolved over Christianity's history and the Seminar examines that from a biblical scholar lens. This is a wiki page not owned by anyone's personal view. If you stop reverting my addition I'll be glad to discuss with you on the talk page. Wrongjohn (talk) 04:12, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's not how WP:BRD works. If you are reverted, you should discuss, not continue to revert.
The only similarity is that they focus on the teachings of Jesus.
You can now begin to discuss on the article's talk page or face additional discussions with administrators. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:41, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Red-Letter Christians that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. What are you on about. It's not related and you were asked to talk on the article's talk page.
