[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to King Philip Regional High School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Notability

[edit]

I’m afraid I need to see more detail on why this is not notable.

She is President and CEO of an international charity.

I hope it’s not because she is not male, as all the others are.

A former pitcher? A YouTuber? Give me a break.

Notable

[edit]

I think that Cyndi Zagieboylo qualifies as notable for King Philip graduates and would like to restore the addition I made.

She is President and CEO of the National MS Society, which is actually an international organization.

Why are there just men in the list?

She is more notable than a youtuber in my opinion.

Hello again Wzagieboylo, did you read the notability guidelines linked above? The specific guideline for a biography can be found at WP:BIO. Notability is primarily evaluated based on the independent coverage of the subject by reliable sources. People who occupy significant positions in notable organizations may not be considered notable here in Wikipedia if they have not been covered in depth by publications they are not associated with. The reference you provided, a profile on the National MS Society website, is not independent. To demonstrate Wikipedia notability you need to identify multiple independent sources containing significant coverage. Interviews are usually of little help because the subject is a part of the source and thus not independent. I've spend a few minutes searching for helpful coverage and haven't found anything useful. However, if you believe Cyndi Zagieboylo qualifies based on the Wikipedia criteria (rather than your personal feelings) then I suggest you create a biography article for her. After the article is created it would be fine to re-add her to the list of notables in the high school article.
Your username suggests you may have a relationship with Cyndi Zagieboylo. If so you should review the Wikipedia conflict of interest guildline.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you guessed I am related. How many people are named Zagieboylo? But you should get some female names up there. You have sports figured a youtuber and a musician.

I won’t say they are not notable but - well I won’t say.

If this were Harvard, maybe she would not be notable, but for KP?

Anyway, thanks for your sincere attention.

I can tell that Wikipedia means a lot to you.

It really is an amazing resource due to efforts of people like you.

Thanks!

Blocked

[edit]

I didn’t create another account.

I told my friends from KP about your decision and they may have tried to put my sister on as notable.

Wow you guys are not very fair.

No warning or request for explanation?

Is there no recourse? Wzagieboylo (talk) 01:42, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
