Adoption offer
[edit]{{adoptoffer}} Should you accept my offer (indicate acceptance here), I would be looking forward to helping you around! I already have one adoptee; I can take on two more before my slots are full. --Dylan (chat, work, ping, sign) 01:25, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Very well, then. :) First, replace the "up for adoption" template on your userpage with
{{adoptee|Dylan620}}
, while I add{{adopter|Xapis}}
to my userpage. Now, since your need for help is pretty immediate (per Kittybrewster's comments above), I'll give it to ya. WP:NPOV means fair representation without bias, and as an acronym means Neutral Point of View. Biased or unfair articles are unwelcome here on Wikipedia, and are generally nominated for deletion (like your article was). Users who persistently perpetrate violations of the NPOV policy may be blocked, or in extreme cases banned. In addition, the sources in your article may not be reliable. Articles that lack cited sources may be nominated for deletion; this may also happen if the article has cited sources, but they are not reliable. I'll give you credit for a good first effort, though! :)
- Before we officially get the adoption program up and running, I need to ask you the following questions. Place
{{tick}}
next to the question to say "yes," and place{{cross}}
next to the question to say "no":
- Q1: Do you wish to be an administrator here on Wikipedia someday?
- Q2: Place
{{tick}}
next to areas in which you would like me to teach you about, and place{{cross}}
next to areas in which you would not like me to teach you about:- Fighting vandalism. 4
- Writing articles. 1
- Various maintenance tasks. 2
- administrative tasks. 3
- Anything else I forgot to mention?
- Hope to see you soon! :D Dylan620 Efforts · Toolbox 12:49, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, User:Dylan620/Adoption/Xapis shall be up shortly. --Dylan620 Efforts · Toolbox 13:27, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Xapis. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Xapis~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
Community Liaison, Wikimedia Foundation

Nomination of Charis School for deletion
[edit]The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Charis School (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Orphaned non-free image File:Charis School Seal.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Charis School Seal.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:09, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
