Dry County of Osborne Kansas

[edit]

Your bot keeps reverting back everytime I add the fact that Osborne County, Kansas is _NOT_ a dry county, at least 1/2 the towns listed(and the one I live in) have Liquer stores. Can you please calm your bot down for me?

Audition Online

[edit]

i changed the artice audition online from something that someone changed. it was like that exactly the day before and i though id change it.

How come?

[edit]

=| How come your userpage got vandalized a lot? Didn't you add the {{sprotected}} code while remodifying it? And over 100,000 edits.... That's a lot! - Qasamaan 21:02, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The page is a target because of its purpose. Vandals hate this bot. So they attack it, apperantly in hopes of breaking the bot or wearing down its owner.
I see. Hope it's not wiring you down too hard. :) - Qasamaan
As for the {{sprotected}} template, simply adding it to a page doesn't protect that page. You have to be an admin to protect pages. They see a special tab. (I know because I am an admin at Wikia:ChristianMusic:.) Will (Talk - contribs) 21:17, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, IP user 68.55.69.23 nearly blanked the Arctic "List of places in Codename: Kids Next Door", but don't worry! I fixed the damage, and I'll leave you to discipline the mischief maker.

Hi, please protect the article from this vandal (89.200.212.78) who deletes sections of the article that are neutral and replaces them with info that is biased and favors one group member, whom he represents, while erasing all other info. he's done it repeatedly, please protect the page.

An error with the AVB

I made a change on the [Wii article]. I think the AVB should know this wasn't vandalism. My change was adding Mexican prices to the article.

Racisim removal

[edit]

Please delete the entire entry at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Electronics_Warranty

since the page makes reference to an extremely and offensively racial term. The page is obviously targeting a company with racial slurs and false information.

Please disable the bot on page for Faton Krasniqi

[edit]

Hi,

I stumbled on a page with fictional content about a fictional 'star' Faton Krasniqi at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faton_krasniqi . Of course, I edited it, but your bot reverted my edit. Please check the page and delete it as you will find out it's a bogus biography. It's funny and sad to read it at the same time.

vadalism

[edit]

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have received your warning message and honestly I am in shocking state. I have never before had an account with until now. My account name is Seymour_Gay.

I have never had anything like that in my mind to vandalise in wikipedia. it has to be some kind of mistake.

Last year I studied in college. I used some of the articles in wikipedia in order to write my essays.

Please accept my appology if i have done something here, but im really sure that I have not done anything to be warned in this way.

thank you

Seymour

i am sorry mate

I didn't do anything wrong!

[edit]

My edit to the page KOC was legitimate. It mightn't have looked legitamate, because I put in a link to an article that didn't exist, but there are lots of instances of that.

EDIT: Actually, on closer inspection, you weren't complaining about my link. You were complaining about the rude words that were put there by my account. I don't know who it was, but it wasn't me.

I deleted them.

Sorry.

I've re-added the entry for Eddie Cochran.

Eddie Cochran died in Bath. He didn't die in Chippenham. Here's a copy of the death certificate: http://members.cox.net/gpugh1/Documents/Death%20Cert.jpg

It clearly shows that he died at St. Martins Hospital in Bath. I know this hospital: I used to work there. I also know Rowden Hill in Chippenham, where the crash occurred. It's well-known in Chippenham that he was taken to St Martins and died there early the next day. Many people think he died in Chippenham because that's where the car-crash that killed him occurred but that is not correct.

I would like Wikipedia to be accurate and to show the fact that he died in Bath. As that is the fact, it seems to me that he should be listed as a famous person who is "...associated with the city," as the page heading puts it. It may be that people associate him with Chippenham rather Bath but that's probably because of the widespread misconception that he died in Chippenham. I would like that misconception to be corrected.

Eddie Cochran died in Bath, as his death certificate shows, so he should appear in this list. Contrast this with Peter Gabriel, who doesn't live in Bath at all but in Box, which is several miles away.

Let's try to get it right!

User talk:71.60.253.31 What?!

[edit]

Pardon how rude this all may sound, but what happened here?! It said you reverted something on the "Boredom" page tht I changed, and not only have I never visited that page, I don't even have an account! I have never changed a thing on here, mostly because I don't think you can without an account. No one else has ever owned this computer/searched Wikipedia on it besides myself. Please look into this error!

AfD nomination of Neopets Faeries

[edit]

An editor has nominated Neopets Faeries, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Neopets Faeries and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i have nothing to do with that school.. i didnt even know it existed.

so please apologise and give me a detailed explanation of why your blaming me for something that is CLEARLY nothing to do with me!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.67.250.253 (talk) 01:24, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Substantial edits at the Dorje Shugden article

[edit]

Dear editor I like to draw your attention to that specific article, Dorje Shugden, which was substantially changed by a group of three new editors, without any discussion on the talk page. Rather one of the new editor revealed: "Many of these changes were discussed between at least three of the editors." which must have happened outside of WP, because there is no discussion on the talk page or their WP-accounts. One of the new editors claimed: "You seem to be the only person who accepted this article as it was. If you check you will see that the changes made make this article more neutral and unbiased then it was before previous edits." If I check I see the article omitted different POV's, deleted verified passages, included passages from anonymous websites and turned the article to a more bias Pro-Shugden POV. I'd like to ask you to check that and to give your opinion or to collaborate if there is a need for improving the article, so that we can have an unbiased, neutral, well-informed article which fairly presents all POV's. Thank you very much, --Kt66 (talk) 19:40, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

funny how AntiVandalBot is one of the most vandalised userpages on wikipedia. π₰₯ ĬLʡ$Φǚɭђµπt₴ŗ ₯₰π

I have no idea what or wy I have beem warned. It us not my intention to vandalize. I was only Copying and pasteting information into a word document so I could pick out the "guts" of what was been said, with the intention of using my own words to fufill "assignment criteria" as I am doing polytech at this timeand had every intention of acknowledging my source As for Julian Jackson, he certainly is not in my dreams, Cher is.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strikeforce:_Destruction

It said that the event was going to be held on November 23, 2008. Which isnt true. It's actually on Friday November 21, 2008 --so I edited it. I was warned for vandalism, which wasn't what I was doing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.60.30.235 (talk) 16:12, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't edit anything

[edit]

I was accused of making an edit I know I didn't make because I don't edit Wikipedia articles. I'm not going to create an account to avoid this because I don't think Wikipedia was designed to make everyone who uses it to register an account. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.142.58.151 (talk) 00:28, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I have a 2Wire account via AT&T, which only agrees in the first two numbers of the IP address to the IP address (75.25.225.75) that did a malicious edit. I'm not sure how your bot identifies sources, but that seems an error on the bot's part, to notify a different IP address that a first IP address did something, unless you go by translated names that may be misused, like 2wire123. Anyway, I'm a registered user and didn't make the edit in question - and wouldn't spell the word "you" as "u" if I did, being of an older and more genteel (pre-texting) generation when Amateur Radio was the lingo of the day. Newport School District Pennsylvania

[edit]

I spent most of the morning revising this page. I had trouble getting the external links item to work. My entire edit was removed. I am new to this. The message I received said something about editing the chimpanzee page. I didn't visit that page at all. I was working a large edit of the school district page. As superintendent I feel responsible for what appears on the page. I don't have a lot of time and having the edit totally removed is very costly to our district in time and effort. 208.253.91.53 (talk) 17:55, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Getting really tired of receiving warnings for "vandalism" of sites I never even visited!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the fact that I have never "vandalized" anyone's "lack-of-expert" ignorance on Wikipedia. I just got another warning about vandalizing the site concerning the "Shua Language." Uh??? Warned for edit I did not make

[edit]

I received a "final warning" about a supposed edit that I made to the South Carolina article that constituted as vandalism. I made no such edit. I come to Wikipedia strictly to read content and very rarely, if ever, make changes to existing articles (which, incidentally, is why I am not a registered user).71.251.254.237 (talk) 16:10, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Depictions of Muhammad

[edit]

This bot incorrectly removed swear words from a quote from Dante's Divine Comedy quoted with regard to Depictions of Muhammad (Revision as of 18:02, 2006 April 28). The quote is:

No barrel, not even one where the hoops and staves go every which way, was ever split open like one frayed Sinner I saw, ripped from chin to where we fart below.
His guts hung between his legs and displayed His vital organs, including that wretched sack Which converts to shit whatever gets conveyed down the gullet.
As I stared at him he looked back And with his hands pulled his chest open, Saying, "See how I split open the crack in myself! See how twisted and broken Mohammed is!" Before me walks Ali, his face Cleft from chin to crown, grief–stricken.
