Hello and thank you for your edits on Southern Railway of Vancouver Island. Just to let you know, we don't capitalise the section titles here on Wikipedia, except for proper names of course. Masterhatch (talk) 16:47, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Actually, Langford station is a flag stop
[edit]Langford Station is actually a flag stop, it says it in the article, end of story. Cascadia630 (talk) 02:43, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Look, I know Island Rail, hence the comprehensive edits I've made, leave it be they are correct. Xplore22 (talk) 00:29, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Actually, if you look in the article Langford station, it quotes "The station was a flag stop on Via Rail's Dayliner service, which has been indefinitely suspended since 2011." All of the stations where trains had to stop at have a station building, Langford station has a sign post.[1] There is no Victoria West station as well, it does not exist. Also, how can we prove that you know about the Island Rail Corridor. Cascadia630 (talk) 01:50, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Island Rail has been a part of my life for the last 13 years, I've worked on the railway here on Island (I live here) directly in a number of capacities. I know Island Rail and you clearly do not so stop making edits on something when you don't know the facts. Langford was not a flag stop, that article is incorrect. Langford also does not have a "sign post" it has an actual open concept station building that was recently rebuilt this year. Victoria West is an actual Station Name Sign, of which if you knew railway terminology you would know that this means it is a station whether there's a building or not. Victoria West is the new terminus of the Island Rail Corridor on the south end, because, if you actually knew Island Rail you would know that the Johnson Street Bridge was replaced a number of years ago and no longer has a rail crossing. Additionally, as a result, Victoria station (the building) no longer exists either. The former E&N Railway has been truncated to Victoria West (Station Name Sign) and that is the new southern terminus of the railway. Again, STOP making edits to factual enhancements of this Wiki article when you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Xplore22 (talk) 18:27, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Please stop modifying the website address of the rightful owners of the railway... the address is islandrail.ca, the Island Corridor Foundation owns it. Skulymann (talk) 17:18, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
I've worked on the railway here on Island

[edit]Hello, I'm Miner Editor. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Island Rail Corridor—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. [edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Liz Read! Talk! 01:38, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
