Sources

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Gustilo open fracture classification, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I have a similar concern about your addition to pneumothorax. Some of the contributions are directly contradicted by another source (Leigh-Smith, which is devoted entirely to traumatic pneumothorax). I'd be most grateful if you could have a look at the guidelines quoted by Jeepday, and have a close read of WP:MEDRS. The latter is very important for medical articles. I reverted your edit to Pneumothorax, as the article is not the place to add your comments. Each article has an associated talk page - in this case Talk:Pneumothorax. If you want to discuss edits to that article, its talk page is the best place for that. --RexxS (talk) 14:49, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning your edits, I justified my removal an in edit summary. The revert and explanation can be seen here. The information cited to Saboston (a board review book, rather than a textbook) contradicts a principal source in the article. JFW | T@lk 16:04, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Galactosemia has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.
