Welcome
[edit]Hello, Ykatz2001, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page, and the Editing tutorial, for basic editing info
- Picture tutorial - How to stick images into articles. Note that you can't hyperlink to images hosted elsewhere, you'll have to upload a copy to Wikipedia.
- Naming conventions - "How should I name my new article? Why can't I start it with a lowercase letter?"
- Manual of Style - this covers those details like "Is it okay to change from British to American spellings?"
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia - this covers the ground rules like don't pick fights with people.
Two other details: First, you can sign your posts on discussion (non-article) pages by typing ~~~~. This produces a signature letting everyone else know who wrote the comment. Also, you should take note of the edit summary box that appears below the editing area: you can put a short description of your changes there. You may want to mark it as a minor edit if it's something like fixing a typo. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page. Hi! The Yuri Katz article doesn't include any citations. Can you take a look at WP:MUSIC, and expand the article to include citations, especially for these two sentences?
- "They released a world music New Age album entitled Intermesh."
- "Katz had appeared on different recording projects by Jamie Kennedy, Howard McCrary, Ya Boy and others."
Also, this appears to be an autobiographical article (an article written by you about yourself), so you should review our WP:AUTO guidelines. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 01:36, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
Shalom Yuri!

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Ykatz2001! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 253 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Natalia Nekrich - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Mikhail Nekrich - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Yuri Katz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NBIO. No evidence (and I could not locate) any significant coverage in reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Υπογράφω (talk) 03:33, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
