Regarding your recent edits[edit]

I don't want to discourage you after your very impressive initial contributions here, but there are a number of guidelines here that you probably want to get familiar with immediately:

Notability - describes how "All topics should meet a minimum threshold of notability"
Conflict of interest - describes guidelines for conflicts of interest - you've already taken the right steps with this which is admirable.
WP:SPAM - covers issues of promotion and advertising
WP:SOURCE - covers how to properly source content, and what content is allowed
WP:EL - covers external links

I've responded to your comments on my talk page. I thought it might be useful for you and other editors to add another thought here. If you look through Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, you'll see that articles similar to Digital strategy will almost always be deleted because of the conflict of interest concerns alone. I realize that my edits and comments might come across as heavy-handed from your perspective, but looking through AfD might give you some perspective on how seriously these issues are taken. I do not think that articles should ever be deleted for COI alone (and indeed, deletion based on a conflict of interest is not grounded in policy or guideline). When articles written by a user with a conflict of interest are deleted, it is usually because the article consisted of original research or because the subject of the article was not notable. If the article is not OR and the subject is notable, the remaining issue of ensuring that it adheres to a neutral point of view is a relatively simple editorial matter that does not require deletion. -- Black Falcon 01:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Digital strategy[edit]

Hi, I see that you have invested a great deal of effort into the article and will give you my honest assessment of it. Much of the article is currently written in what essentially amounts to essay form, but there is nothing inherently wrong with that format, although it will probably change over time. Wikipedia disallows essays that are original research or push a particular point of view, but not the essay form--introduction, body, conclusion--itself.

The subject is not within my expertise, so I can only give two general suggestions regarding style. First, any content that is inherently unattributable to a reliable source should be removed. (Note: this does not necessarily apply to content which is attributable, but simply hasn't been attributed yet.) Second, sections 2 through 4 (the three stages of digital strategising) currently consist of explanations of individual key terms and concepts. I believe it would improve the article if the definitions were incorporated into each section as prose. The article needs more sources, but considering that it was created about a week ago and that only two editors have edited it, I would say that it is a good start. Also, see my comment to Ronz above.
