Vampire Prosecutor (Korean뱀파이어 검사; RRBaempaieo Geomsa) is a 2011 South Korean television series, starring Yeon Jung-hoon, Lee Won-jong, Lee Young-ah and Kim Joo-young. The crime procedural drama tells the story of a prosecutor who hides his identity of being a vampire and solves crimes with his special powers.[1][2][3][4] It aired on cable channel OCN from October 2 to December 18, 2011 on Sundays at 23:00 for 12 episodes.

A second season aired in September 2012.[5][6][7]

Plot

Min Tae-yeon isn't your typical prosecutor. He has the uncanny ability to tell where the victim of his cases died, and how they died based on their blood's smell and taste. Only some people know that Tae-yeon is actually a vampire, and he drinks blood sold on the black market in the posh bars of Seoul. Along with detective Hwang Soon-bum, rookie prosecutor Yoo Jung-in and intern Choi Dong-man, they solve murder cases, and each time Tae-yeon uses his "powers" to find leads on cases that seem unsolvable. But the one thing he can't solve is the identity of the vampire who turned him seven years ago. And Jung-in soon becomes suspicious of Tae-yeon's "questionable" tactics in solving cases...[8]
