Verbena simplex, commonly known as narrowleaf vervain, is an herbaceous perennial plant in the verbena family. It is native to eastern North America where it is found in open, dry, habitats on calcareous soil. It is tolerant of disturbance, and is often seen in pastures and roadsides with sparse vegetation.[1]

Verbena simplex produces spikes of lavender colored flowers in the summer.
