Viimsi Parish (Template:Lang-et) is a rural municipality in northern Estonia, located north-east and neighbouring the capital Tallinn. It occupies an area of 72.84 km2 (28.12 sq mi)[2] with a population of 16,901 (As of 1 March 2011)[3] which makes it the seventh largest municipality in Estonia and the most populous rural municipality (parish). The municipality contains the Viimsi Peninsula and several islands, including Naissaar, Prangli, and Aksi.

The current mayor of Viimsi Parish is Haldo Oravas from the Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica.[1]
