Vivek Sagar is an Indian music composer.

He debuted with the movie, Pelli Choopulu (2016). His work in the film led to him being one of the five nominees for the 2017 Filmfare Awards South's "Best Music Album" category.[1]

He scored for Sammohanam (2018) starring Aditi Rao Hyadri and Sudheer Babu, and directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. He again collaborated with Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam for Ee Nagaraniki Emayndi.

Life

Sagar studied Electronics and communications engineering before embarking on a career in music. He began his career as a music composer with a short film, Sainma.[2]

Career

His first full-length film and his first Tollywood production was Pelli Choopulu.[3] He has stated that he believes music should be custom-written for the movie's story and that he will avoid "commercial music".[4]
