WGKS (96.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Adult Contemporary format. Licensed to Paris, Kentucky, USA, the station serves the Lexington-Fayette area. The station is currently owned by L.M. Communications, Inc. and features programming from ABC Radio .[2]

History

The station was assigned the call letters WCOZ on 1985-02-25. On 1992-06-11, the station changed its call sign to WCOZ-FM then just over a week later, on 1992-06-19, the station changed its call sign to the current WGKS.[3]
