WJEM (1150 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports format. Licensed to Valdosta, Georgia, United States, the station is currently owned by Smalltown Broadcasting, LLC.[1]

History

The station went on the air as WJEM on 2007-01-30.

Since January 2011, WJEM has been broadcasting local sports content as The Jock 1150. WJEM is an official ESPN Radio affiliate. The Jock is also Valdosta's home for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Valdosta State University Athletics, and Valwood football. Local programming for the afternoon drive is "The Afternoon Drive" with host Phil Jones and can be heard weekdays from 3:00 to 6:00. The station website is www.thejock1150.com[2]
