WMKL (91.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Independent radio format. The station is owned by Call Communications Group, Inc.[1]
"The CALL" formed as Call Communications Group, Inc. during the summer of 1994 by a group of college-age young adults in the Miami area. WMKL was purchased in late 1999 and began broadcasting at 8:05 PM on the night of February 9, 2000. Call Communications Group owns or operates additional radio stations that serve Southwest Florida, the Glades region, and the Florida Keys.
WMKL's HD-2 and HD-3 subchannels also air Catholic programming from Radio Maria USA. (originated by KJMJ in Alexandria, Louisiana).
