Payback is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It will take place on June 16, 2013 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.[1]

Background

Payback will feature professional wrestling matches that involve wrestlers from pre-existing feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown. Wrestlers will portray villains or heroes as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.[2][3]

After their Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules, which ended in a no-contest, Ryback drove an ambulance into the arena on the May 20 episode of Raw, and announcing that he will face John Cena in an Ambulance match.
