Walworth Township is a township in Becker County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 88 as of the 2000 census.[3]
History
Walworth Township was organized in 1883.[4] It was named after Walworth County, Wisconsin.[4]
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.3 square miles (93.9 km²), of which 36.1 square miles (93.6 km²) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) (0.36%) is water.

Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 88 people, 38 households, and 27 families residing in the township. The population density was 2.4 people per square mile (0.9/km²). There were 42 housing units at an average density of 1.2/sq mi (0.4/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.86% White, and 1.14% from two or more races.
There were 38 households out of which 23.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.9% were married couples living together, 5.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.9% were non-families. 26.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.32 and the average family size was 2.78.
In the township the population was spread out with 19.3% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 19.3% from 25 to 44, 27.3% from 45 to 64, and 28.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 50 years. For every 100 females, there were 125.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 136.7 males.
The median income for a household in the township was $34,167, and the median income for a family was $44,375. Males had a median income of $15,625 versus $15,417 for females. The per capita income for the township was $18,440. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
