Wanaparthy district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. It was previously part of Mahabubnagar district.[1]
Geography
The district is spread over an area of 4,816.40 square kilometres (1,859.62 sq mi).[2]
Demographics
As of 2011[update] Census of India, the district has a population of 12,38,660.[2]
Administrative divisions
The district has one revenue division of Wanaparthy and is sub-divided into 14 mandals.[3] Swetha Mohanty is the present collector of the district.[4]
