Wattipally is a remote village in Telkapalle mandal, Nagar Kurnool Revenue division of Mahbubnagar district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a remote village surrounding other villages Alair, Marrikal, Ambatpally and Karpamula. It is equally distanced (about 30 km) from major towns Nagarkurnool, Achampet and Kollapur. Wattipally is located in between 16.19 degrees northern longitude and 78.25 eastern latitude, this village is situated approximately 458 metres (1,503 ft) above sea level. Wattipally falls under semi-arid tropical regions.
Wattipally is a major gram panchayat including Wattipally tanda (2 km from the Wattipally village) and Wattipally itself. Elections are held every 5 years to elect the Sarpanch.
The present Member of Legislative assembly of Nagarkurnool is Marri Janardhan Reddy, and Member of parliament is Nandi Yellaiah.

How to go Wattipally
- Wattipally is about 151 kilometres (94 mi) from Hyderabad, so this is easily accessible by road, there are two main road ways to reach, one is through Srisailam highway via Kalwakurthy, Medipur road and Telkapally (120 km), another is through NH-7 until Jadcherla (79 km), then via Nagarkurnool and Telkapally(150 km)
- Wattipally is about 100 kilometres (62 mi) from the new Shamshabad International airport.[1]

- Mr.Beerbal Rao Veldanda worked hard for the progess of the village. He fought with the government to provide transport,power and basic aminities. He was the president of V.A.O'S association of the Mahaboobnagar district, in which he played major role for the alround development of the Mandal.
