  • one of the greatest batsman --> one of the greatest batsmen
  • fast century --> fastest century
  • Replace 189* (and similar ones) in the lead with something like "unbeaten 189" or "189 not out". This is ok in the table since it needs to be concise and the key is there, but this would not be clear in the lead section.
  • His ODI record of 189 has been surpassed by three batsmen and matched by one ([2]). The article makes it sound like he's still in second place, so make this clear. Perhaps add another note?
  • Perhaps follow x/y format (xth test of y) for the "Test" column? This is used in List of international cricket centuries by Donald Bradman, List of international cricket centuries by Brian Lara etc, and makes it's meaning clearer I think.

  • Just a quick RS query - what makes rediff.com reliable?
    • To be honest, I'm not big on knowing how to prove RS. However, just looking at the wikipedia page for Rediff.com, it sounds pretty reliable. I'm sure I can find an alternative source for that info if you want though?
  • Don't think you need to link countries like England. The teams, yes, but the countries? Don't think so.
    • Done: Removed England, but left Antigua, as it's less known.
  • "Richards' 24 Test centuries are the third most by a West Indian batsman, trailing Brian Lara's 34 and Sobers' 26." don't like this at all. Perhaps "Richards has the third-highest number of centuries for the West Indies, behind ..."?
    • Done: fixed as suggested.
  • Notes 1 and 2 are unreferenced.
    • Done: The references were provided at the end of the sentence the note was in. Added the reference in the note too now though.
  • "70 minute record" - 70-minute.
    • Done: fixed as suggested.
  • Date ranges in the refs need en-dashes.
    • Done: fixed as suggested.

Comment — Seeing that there is no images in the ODI section, why cant we have the number of balls faced ... I know I'm being annoying but it would be handy, probably more so than Strike rate. —Aaroncrick (talk) 08:14, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
