Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp[edit]

Reason: Our featured picture collection deserves at least one Rembrandt. Offering one of his better known early works, which is famous enough to have its own article, in the best quality digital file I could locate. Also useful at History of medicine.

- This image comes from the National Library of the Netherlands and originates from The Hague. Although I can't comment on the color balance, it was the most reliable source archive I could locate. Durova^Charge! 02:45, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
