Air on the G String[edit]

"Air on the G String" is a popular adaptation by August Wilhelmj of the Air, the second movement from Johann Sebastian Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, BWV 1068. It is very common for this Bach work to be rearranged and here we present a 21-piece string orchestra arrangement. This file adds significantly to the following article:

  • Oppose - This is neither the original, nor the popular arrangement for violin solo. If it at least had a violin soloist, sure, but as it is, no. Also, I don't think this arrangement is particularly artistic; it feels a bit flat. Adam Cuerden (talk) 09:25, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
