The Wiki Club Brussels is a bi-weekly open writing session (wikithon or edit-a-thon) on Tuesday evening in BeCentral organised by Wikimedia Belgium and Open Knowledge Belgium.

Participants are invited to discover and write for Wikipedia and other Wiki projects.

Newbies are welcome, and are coached by other experienced participants. No need to be shy.

Agenda[edit]

  • 18:15: welcome
  • 18:30 - 19:00: Introduction to Wikipedia and Wikimedia
  • 19:00 - 20:30: Editing or creating new articles

What should you bring?

  • Bring your own laptop
  • Bring a base text that you can use for an article (no plagiarism) and possibly a photo (mind copyright)
  • Please create your Wikimedia account before coming to the meeting (IP limit for account creation)
  • Wi-Fi is available
