Wikipedia:Meetup/Columbus/Wikipedia Connection Workshops/Fall 2016/6

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is Wikipedia Connection's sixth workshop of the Fall 2016 semester at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The event is open for students, staff, and anyone else interested in coming together to discuss and edit Wikipedia. Each workshop usually begins with an introduction and short lesson about an aspect of Wikipedia. Participants then start editing articles that interest them, and are encouraged to focus on the lesson matter. Experienced editors are available to answer questions, help make edits, and point editors in the right direction as needed.

This week's topics include a presentation on copyright laws and how they relate to media on Wikipedia. We will also continue to work with Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 in the United States.
