- Cfd discussion - Merge Category:Members of the United Kingdom Parliament from Northern Ireland constituencies to Category:British MPs
The name "Northern Ireland" has been stated to be incorrect (should be "Northern Irish"), but perhaps that can be best dealt with by a Rename, rather than Deleting the category altogether (which is what a Merge is in effect).--Mais oui! 18:40, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- Article Strabane has been vandalised consistantly (specifically added POV edits) and has been blocked from editing by non-member editors. --Mal 12:05, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- A WikiProject has started concerning Gaelic Games and related subjects. The project is still coming together, and we are looking for users to help get it going as well as any users that might want to add articles or improve articles. If you have the chance and are intrested, or just want to lend a hand, you can check it out at Wikipedia:WikiProject Gaelic Games. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 08:00, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

- There is a CfD to rename a category for alumni in a Canadian university called Queen's University, which will cause ambiguity with Belfast's Queen's University if the proposal is successful. Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 April 10#Category:Queen's University, Canada alumni to Category:Queen's University alumni. --Mal 07:43, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Please watch the article Northern Ireland as it has been vandalised by a small-minded bigot with a grudge. --Mal 09:20, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Category:Northern Ireland people has been nominated for renaming by Mayumashu. For consensus voting, please see WP:CFD#Category:Northern Ireland people to Category:People of Northern Ireland. --Mal 21:57, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- Following on from Mayumashu's proposal, I have nominated the renaming of all similar categories at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 April 3#Northern Irish categories (block rename proposal). --Mal 03:31, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

- I have started a discussion on the Talk:Sammy Wilson page, as I am curious as to the number of negative quotes included in the article which appear to amount to POV. --Mal 01:33, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- Cfd discussion - Category:Kings of Dalriada (request to rename as Category:Kings of Dál Riata) may be of interest. Angus McLellan (Talk) 11:51, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
- Created {{Northern Irish roads}}, have added it to all the roads, motorways, places listed in Category:Roads in Northern Ireland & Category:Motorways in Northern Ireland. - There is a CFD open at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 March 20#Category:Great Britain at the Olympics to Category:United Kingdom at the Olympics. I suggest that all Northern Irish Wikipedians who agree with the renaming vote in favour, as if it remains as solely Great Britain, Northern Ireland is effectively being wiped out of existance in terms of the team. Stu ’Bout ye! 09:36, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have proposed the renaming of Category:Northern Ireland football clubs to Category:Northern Irish football clubs in accordance with the standard for all other UK regional football team categories eg: Category:English football clubs.
- The request for speedy renaming has been removed from the speedy page, and instead a discussion has taken place on the CfD page. Please discuss on this talk page.
- Alternatively, post your views on the WP:CFD page, in the relevant section. --Mal 03:43, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
